By creating an account or otherwise using CHS Hubs (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Registration is open to representatives of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and FIRST Tech Challenge(FTC) teams; depending on the platform's current registration settings, your account may need to be approved by a system administrator or your team's Team Admin before you gain full access. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
CHS Hubs is a platform operated by FIRST Chesapeake that helps FRC and FTC teams share manufacturing resources. Teams list the machining and 3D-printing capabilities they can offer, and the needs they're looking for help with; CHS Hubs matches teams by capability and approximate distance, and provides a way to submit and track help requests between teams.
Each account represents a specific FRC or FTC team. When you register, you must provide accurate information about yourself and your team, including your team's program and number. Accounts are typically created and managed by team mentors, coaches, or team leads; by registering, you confirm you are authorized to represent your team on the platform.
Team Admins are responsible for managing their own team's roster on CHS Hubs, including approving new teammates when the platform is configured to require it.

You may not submit false capability or team information, upload content you don't have the right to share, harass or misrepresent other teams, or otherwise disrupt or misuse the Service.
CHS Hubs is a coordination tool only — it does not itself perform manufacturing work, supply material, or arrange shipping. Any work performed, material supplied, or delivery arranged in response to a help request is agreed to directly between the requesting and providing teams. FIRST Chesapeake is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, the outcome of any help request made through the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to sign in. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms.
Capability listings, help request descriptions, messages, and any files (such as CAD or drawing files) you upload remain your or your team's property. By uploading content, you grant CHS Hubs a limited license to store and transmit it as needed to operate the Service — for example, to share an attached file with the other team involved in a help request. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any file you upload. The CHS Hubs platform, software, and branding remain the property of FIRST Chesapeake and its contributors.
CHS Hubs relies on third-party services, including Google (sign-in), Slack (optional notifications), DigitalOcean (data and file storage), The Blue Alliance and the FIRST/FTC Events API (team validation), and an email provider (notification delivery). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
We provide the Service on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of team-submitted capability or need information, computed matches or distances, or data obtained from third-party APIs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FIRST Chesapeake will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
